The TEN COMMANDMENTS are the most noble laws in the universe made for man to obey. The true God made the TEN COMMANDMENTS for man to obey. They are therefore suited to address anything a human can do in thought, word and deed. God originally made the faculties of man's soul (namely his soul's ability to love and hate) to function in perfect accord with the TEN COMMANDMENTS. His ability to love would cause him to embrace righteousness and cherish eveything that is in accord to the law. His ability to hate was meant to cause him to hate and repel sin and everything contrary to the law. As long as his soul functioned in this manner, it would repel all that is harmful to his wellbeing and be drawn to all that is conducive to it.

When man fell from his created state of righteousness, man's soul became inslaved to the law if sin which is a law that is perfectly antitheical to God's law. As a result, man's soul began to function opposite or antitheical to the way he was originally created so that now he loved sin and hated righteousness. This is the sad fallen state of every human conceived into the world. And so evey graceless human does not have the ability to obey God's law and they have been condemned by God to spend eternity experiencing the wrath of God in the LAKE OF FIRE.
