The Main Library rumored to be sinking into the lakefill at a centimeter or an inch (or whatever) a year. Don't believe the stories, it ain't sinking. The library is meant to evoke the appearance of cliffs at the edge of the sea. It really does look like that... late at night when you're staggering home from a fraternity party on north campus. It's located directly behind and connected to Deering Library. | | ||
